No access to protected site view with Login

When I set one page or sideview as protected, and I have a public page for login of the user I cannot get access (as a logged in user) to the protected side views or pages. However the login-operation is not giving an error. 

 

Could somebody help me with this problem?

Hi Myron,

have you a good knowledge of the user-group-module model in WebRatio? See "Users and groups in WebRatio" section in http://www.webratio.com/learn/learningobject/how-to-model-user-and-group-management.

Then,

  • click the Project view, then Outline, and set Enable Admin Area; generate your application;
  • use the Admin Area to add the module, if it is not already in, to the Protected modules;
  • check which is the default group oid of your user by means of your SQL tool; besides, find the oid's of your protectd modules;
  • check in the group_module whether the user default group oid is associated the these modules_id, or not: in the latter case, add it manually by means of SQL insert statements.

I have been facing the same problem, it seems modules are not associated to the admin.

unfortunately, I do not have knowledge in SQL queries.
